Transmission Tuning:

We fully tune the transmission — speedometer recalibration, torque management, shift firmness, and shift points.

  • 6L80E (5.3L): Uses the T43 controller. (InternalTCM)

  • 8L90E (6.2L): Uses the T87A controller. (External TCM)

Octane Recommendation:

We can tune for whatever octane you prefer, but we strongly recommend premium (91+). Many of these trucks spark knock on the stock spark tables with regular fuel. Premium allows more aggressive timing, which produces the most power and the best fuel economy.
