2014+ GM BCM Bench Programming

The gray connector isn't necessary for cloning tools, only needed for linking different networks or stock programming. The BCM usually powers up with only the 4 pins on the white X1 connector. If connection fails add pins 5/6 on the green X3 connector for ignition power to activate the BCM. (Click on the picture for a bigger view)
