This is a mail-in service to permanently disable the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) on Hemi engines. We do not provide a physical part: you ship your engine computer to us, we program it, and we ship it back.
With MDS disabled, your engine will always run on all 8 cylinders. It will no longer shut down cylinders under light load, which causes the sluggish feel and the constant switching. MDS is one of the first things people disable after modifying their vehicle, and it's a common choice on stock vehicles too.
Select your vehicle year when ordering:
2005–2014 Hemi: One-day turnaround once received.
2015 and newer Hemi: All 2015 and newer FCA/Stellantis PCMs are locked from the factory. Your PCM must be sent to HP Tuners for their unlock service before we can program it. The price for this option includes the MDS delete, the HP Tuners unlock, software licensing, and shipping to and from HP Tuners. Expect 10–14 business days total turnaround.
Not supported: Diesel, Pentastar V6, and Dodge Viper.
Important:
This is a programming change only. It does not repair lifters, camshafts, or other internal engine damage. If your engine already has a lifter tick, misfire, or MDS solenoid fault, have it diagnosed before ordering.
Send only the computer. Do not include brackets, rubber isolators, or mounting hardware, because they may not be returned.
On 2015 and newer vehicles, PCMs with broken locking tabs or connectors cannot be unlocked and will not be accepted.
If the PCM is not the original to your vehicle, let us know before purchasing.

If your PCM arrives damaged, has broken locking tabs, or is not supported, we will return it and refund the service minus return shipping.
