Unlike a plug-in AFM/DFM disabler that has to stay plugged in forever, this is a permanent tune written directly to your ECM — one time, done. No dongles, no OBD2 plug-ins, no battery drain.
Why Delete DFM?
DFM is the #1 cause of collapsed lifters, lifter tick, and camshaft failure on GM 5.3 and 6.2 engines
Locks the engine in full-cylinder (V8) mode — no 17-pattern DFM cylinder deactivation
Eliminates DFM lifter failure risk on the software side
Stops torque converter shudder and constant lockup cycling from cylinder deactivation
Smooths part-throttle drivability and towing behavior
Required after a DFM delete kit or cam swap
Note: The tune disables cylinder deactivation. If your engine already has a failing DFM lifter (audible tick/misfire), it needs mechanical repair — a tune can't fix damaged hardware.

Remove your ECM and ship it to us — ECM only, no harness, no TCM
We send it through the HP Tuners Global B unlock (1–3 business days at HP Tuners, plus shipping), then write the DFM delete calibration
Your ECM ships back. Plug it into the same truck and drive — no IMMO relearn or crank relearn needed
Important — Global B Rules
Your original ECM must go back in the same vehicle. The unlock is tied to that ECM.
No exchange or pre-programmed ECMs on Global B — we tune the one from your truck.
Do not install a different ECM in the truck while yours is out. The unlocked ECM will not work if another ECM has been programmed to the vehicle in the meantime.
Allow extra turnaround time — the ECM makes a stop at HP Tuners before we tune it.
Transmission (T93 10-speed TCM) tuning is not included — message us for a quote.
