from $199.00

GM 23137198 — Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM / ABS Pump Control Module)

Remanufactured/programmed EBCM for 2011–2016 Cadillac SRX and select GMC Terrain platforms. Each module is programmed and calibrated to your VIN before it ships—install-ready, no dealer scan tool required.

PIN-Secured

The ABS Control Module on the 2011–2016 Cadillac SR and Terrain is PIN-secured. A replacement module can't simply be programmed without extracting the security PIN from your original unit first. That's what we do — you send us your old EBCM, we pull the PIN, and program your replacement with your VIN and the latest GM calibration updates.

Your original EBCM must be sent in regardless of which option you choose. We need it to retrieve the PIN.

Two Options — You Choose

How to Know Your ABS Module Has Failed

The EBCM manages your ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control. When it fails, braking and stability systems are compromised. Common symptoms:

ABS Warning Light On The ABS light illuminates and stays on. The most common first sign of EBCM failure on the Equinox and Terrain.

StabiliTrak / Traction Control Disabled Warning messages for StabiliTrak and traction control appear on the DIC and both systems shut off. The EBCM can no longer process wheel speed data properly.

ABS Activating During Normal Braking You feel the brake pedal pulsate or hear the ABS pump cycling during normal low-speed stops on dry pavement. The EBCM is misinterpreting wheel speed signals and activating ABS when it shouldn't.

Hard or Unresponsive Brake Pedal The pedal feels firmer than normal or braking response is reduced. The EBCM controls the hydraulic valves in the ABS pump assembly — electronic failure affects hydraulic control.

Service ESC / Service Traction Control Messages The Driver Information Center displays service warnings for the electronic stability and traction control systems.

Multiple Wheel Speed Sensor DTCs Codes like C0035, C0040, C0045, C0050 across multiple corners. If you've already replaced sensors and the codes return, the EBCM is the problem.
