About Ewalt's Auto Tuning

Ewalt's Auto Tuning is a specialty automotive electronics shop based in Watertown, South Dakota, owned and operated by Evan Ewalt. We focus on GM ECU/PCM tuning, module programming, and calibration work — including the jobs dealerships say can't be done.

We work across a wide range of GM platforms: E38, E92, E67, T87, P12, P59, and GMT800/900 body control modules. Our services include custom engine and transmission tuning for Vortec, LS, and LT engines, VIN programming, BCM and PCM cloning, bricked module recovery, security system bypass (VATS, Passlock, SKIM), and factory-level SPS flashing. We also support Mopar platforms including Chrysler GPEC2/GPEC2A PCM unlocking.

We serve customers nationwide through mail-order service — ship us your module and we'll program it on the bench and ship it back. Local customers in the Watertown area can drop off in person.

Beyond tuning, we develop our own tools and hardware for the GM aftermarket, including custom bench flashing hardware and calibration editing tools built specifically for platforms that off-the-shelf solutions don't fully support.
