Stand Alone PCM Pinouts for P01 - P59

These PCM connector pinouts cover 1999–2006 4.8/5.3/6.0 engines. Your harness may not have every wire listed. I tried to include all wires that can appear on 1999–2006 models. If a wire I list isn’t on your harness, you likely don’t need it.

Some pin locations can have different wires depending on the assembly plant, mainly for O2 sensors. Each alternative is shown on its own line.

Blocks highlighted like this are required wires that go to external connections for a standalone setup. Blocks highlighted like this are wires that can be removed from the PCM connectors (not needed). Removing all of these will make the harness non-emissions-compliant. If you must keep four O2 sensors or the EVAP system, do not remove those wires.

Wires for electronic automatic transmission controls that can be removed are identified; their pin numbers are highlighted in yellow. If removing the transmission, watch Blue connector pin 41. In some harnesses that pin only goes to the trans; in others it’s spliced and also feeds the coolant temp sensor and the trans. If it’s spliced, cut only the trans feed at the splice.

Unhighlighted wires must be left alone — they go directly from the PCM to a plug (sensor, switch, or device).
